Prayer Lines

Some wise person once said the number cause of atheism is christians
if you want to get a first hands eyeview of this call a prayer line
these poeple sincerely and honestly think they are the voice and substitute for god when you call

i called in for prayer many times
and was told point blank that not only could god NOT DO IT, HE COULD'D AND WASN'T GOING TO

ok first of all you dont know these people at all
second of all how do they know what gods will is for your life based on what you tell them in 30 seconds or less
some prayer lines keep records of your calls so they know who you are and what you call about
some prayer lines block you from calling if you get into a disagreement from them
i know this is that i have called from home phone its busy
but i call on my cell phone its not
but if i get into an argument on my cell phone
call back and notice that thats now busy
if you dont argue with them they dont block you
but if you do they do

where do poeple get this idea that they are gods spokesperson
i used to be a christian
but can honestly say i have turned
and its becuase of "christians" i have talked to over the phone
who have pretty much told me what they think gods will is for my life but they insist they know its gods will
or that god has other plans

it was a prayer line person who started telling me god has called me to be single
in the first 28 years of my life i had never heard of god calling anyone to be single
when i actually met someone and starting praying about this started
is this the same god who said its not good for man to be alone
why would he call people to be single
he created woman for gosh sakes becuase man was alone
and god wasnt enough for him

no hes not
you need someone on earth not god in heaven where the geography is very far

i have been told that its up to god whether or not i date
i was also told that the reason why i am not married is that what would have been my husband was actually aborted by his mom
i swear on my granparents grave that is what this man says

then there poeple who refuse to pray with me beacuase i dont have a personal relationship with jesus

ok how can you have an actual relationship with jesus the son of god who was on earth for 33 years but died rose again and ascened nearly 2000 years ago

i believe jesus did all those things and accept it

what i dont accept is this idea that you must have a relationship
ok how can you have a relationship with a man who is not on earth
you cant feel him see him or hear him
you cant go anywhere with him
you cant talk to him on the phone or email him
how can you have a relationship when all the key elements of a relationship arent possible

people think i am not saved becuase i dont know jesus personally?
and they do
ok saying a prayer is not meeting someone
i dont care what they thin
no one alive on earth has ever met him in person
they say well not literally but spiritually
um no
have they met him in person or not yes or no and that would be no
the only people to meet him were on earth the 33 years he was on earth

alsoi get condemed by prayer people not only becuase i dont have a "relationhip" with him but its not an intimate one as well
are they serious? not only do they suggest a relationship that actually cant be had but an intimate one


also i was told that god was my husband
is this the same god who is also my father
hmm
god is not my husband
hes no ones husband
jesus and i arent dating
yeah one gal in a christian chat room told me that jesus was her bf


i was talking to a friend of mine and she made a very good point
if god is a husband to single females
then what is he to single males their wife?
i know it sounds ridiculous
thats becuase it is

where do prayer line poeple come from
they are actually looney
i thought i had problems

nothing compared to prayer line people

i had to admit i have met some nice people
but thats an exception to the rule

also some tell me god wont answer my prayers becuase i dont love him

hmm according to what people have said that god did to me
why would i love him?
